If you want to burn iTunes videos onto DVD discs on Windows OS, you simply get Video Converter Ultimate to help you, since it can be used to both remove DRM from iTunes media and burn video to DVD. However, if you’d like to do that on your Mac, the Mac version of Video Converter Ultimate cannot do the trick by itself. As I discussed before, the Mac version of Video Converter Ultimate has all the same features as that of the Windows version, except removing DRM.
Thus, in order to burn iTunes movies and TV shows to DVD on Mac OS X, you still need a DRM removal tool to help you, as Apple uses the M4V files to encode TV episodes, movies, and music videos in the iTunes Store and the copyright of M4V files is protected by using Apple’s FairPlay DRM copyright protection.
The iTunes Video Converter Platinum developed by Tune4Mac is a pretty good Mac app for removing DRM from iTunes video.
After following the steps to remove DRM from iTunes video and convert iTunes video to plain MP4, you can then import the output file into Video Converter Ultimate for Mac for burning. Now let me walk you through the DVD burning steps:
1. Import Video Files
Hit the Burn tab at the top to enter into the Burn interface. Then in the upper-left corner of the interface, switch to the “Burn DVD” option. Next, simply drag and drop the video files to this app’s pane to burn DVDs.
2. Choose Output Format
Name your DVD and choose one of four output formats: DVD Disc, DVD Folder, .dvdmedia, or ISO file. Select one of your favorite DVD menu templates from the drop-down list at the bottom of the program window.
3. Start to Burn DVD
Click the Burn button in the lower-right corner of the interface to start burning DVDs.
